ROW 90 Soft Top to Hard Top

OK guys, just need a sanity check here.... I'm thinking of switching out the soft top on my '84 90 from a canvas top to a hard top later this year when it starts to get "cold". I have a lift gate now, so I am thinking of going to the POE style liftgate on the back. Other than the obvious removal of the hoop set and bolting on the hard top, are there any gotchas that anyone thinks I might run in to?

If you were looking for tops / parts, where would you go? The usuals (i.e. RDS, Safari HP, RN, etc) or somewhere else?

Well I should add that the canvas top isn't fairing too well, so I am going to have to do *something*... hence my train of thought.

Well, so I guess no one has done it? I guess I will have to wait until I am home to figure out what might be involved.

Since you dont have a roll cage there shouldnt be much to it. Just have to make sure the top of the window matches up to the roof correctly?

Really easy enough to do.

I have a 90 pickup cab coming and will likely pull the roof and rear in order to fit an exmoor soft top and sticks.

The sides should bolt up to your cappings, and make sure you have new/good seals all around before fitting.

Though every time I see this truck I think I want to keep the PU cab and just add a hood...
