New Defender owner possibly

Hi-Can anyone tell me what I should be looking out for if I purchase a 1997 D-90 with a new engine in it (5500 miles on it). The car has had some restoration done. It looks nice, is pricey. Any thoughts?

So I didn't see any rust when I took a look at it; new powder coat on metal. Presumably the chap had it sandblasted and powder coated. He has rhinoliner sprayed on the inside of the footwells.

After reading this forum, I am scared to purchase. I fear all the costs involved in upkeep. My sister owns one, she lives in Colorado. She has had her 1997 D-90 for 10 years and loves it. Minimal maintenance but she gets really lucky! I usually don't have that kind of luck!

While we do have a large customer base, I want to assure you that you are never lost as a "number". Our goal has, and always will be 100% satisfaction, especially in the case of our error.
Zack, wanted to thank you again for getting that sorted out! Much appreciated!

You'd better get someone with real world D90 experiance to lay eyes on it for you before you hand over your money. The footwells lined are a yellow flag. There are plenty of locals that would help...if all fails with help from this site you have 9 guys on birmabrightbrotherhood.com that may help. Good Luck.

The discs are made with adobe/pdf. To my knowledge they are the only product out there.

Me to, but my issue was with shipping.

I spoke to Zack about it and he says they have corrected the issue. I appreciate that and I'm sure they have fixed it.

I'll be honest though they are my absolute last call for parts. I prefer to call Justin or PT Schram for my needs, both offer me the best customer service, speed of shipping and prices. They take excellent care of me and I have zero complaints.

I have been using RN for a many number of years with great success, my only beef lately is the new web site sucks, I always get a message " I.E blocked website from displaying content with security certificate errors" . Plus the search bar is never there. So if you want to look a number your SOl. what's up?

Also want to ask RN about the interior window guard set 110 SW (WGS1004) would these work on a 90? are not the windows the same? can they be fitted to the out side of the window frame?

Thanks
