rovergauge iphone/ipad compatable?

Wondering if rovergauge advanced to iphone app yet. I google'd the heck out of it and found nothing. Seems logical with this (attached) piece of hardware.

Anything out there on this, or should I prep to use my laptop?

Nope. I've toyed with the idea of building an interface for android, but it'll probably never happen.

Been toying with the idea of using obd 2 connector, just don't know if Communications protocols will allow me to use an obd2 scanner, vrs rover gauge and or air ride software.

That's a VGA connector. For a monitor. Useless for rover gauge.

Spoke with someone the other day and asked your question and concern...the response, android is Linux based so technically using the proper ports an android pad should work....I have yet to try...

Not useless. VGA is the male/female connection that the architect provides as an option to connect. It's simply a plug that you can code however you want. Google it.

VGA != RS-232. Sorry. You could use something like this though: http://redpark.com/lightning-serial-cable-l2-db9v/. But, not being familiar with the iOS APIs I have no idea if you can even succesfully make use of that thing without a jailbreak.

Unfortunately it's not that simple at all. C code needs to be ported to the android NDK and an interface built. It would just be a lot less work than getting it going on iOS, but it's still not all that easy.

VGA = analog signals
RS232 = digital signals.

Code isn't going to change that.

.
You can't. The USB on an IOS device can't be used as a host. You can't have two way communication. It is all locked down.

You can use Bluetooth, but that requires a special BT stack and fee payments to Apple.
