Rover Tym springs

Can anyone tell me if I could use Rover Tym RR4-1 springs and EMU shocks that came out of a Disco II on my 94 Defender 90?

Is it a bad idea to buy used shocks and springs that were supposedly used for 6 months? Any questions that I should ask, before purchasing?

Thanks,

Ade

You can mix and match springs OME and rovertyme but Id keep them the same front and rear. i like to match my springs like my tires.

Unless the shocks and springs are real cheap id go with new.
