Rover Shop in San Antonio

Gents,

I just moved to San Antonio, TX and I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a good Rover mechanic in the area. I can usually fix my 300tdi D-90 or my DII myself, but with time at a premium sometimes it is easier to go somewhere I can trust to have work done.

Cheers,
S-P

The guys at British 4x4 are top notch. Not just in their ability to get things fixed but in the quality of the people that work there. I just had mine there last week.

Welcome to Texas. Ask Josh or Brett there at British 4x4 about the rover group also. There is a group that gets together every so often and hangs out and wheel together. Nothing formal, I go when I can but that is not often.

That idle issue that I am having. When it gets warm it won't always stay running and dies at random. On Tuesday Brett called and told me what was wrong, said it was an easy fix, then to save me some money told me how to fix it, and sold me the parts at a great price. Josh delivered them to my work last night, now that is service!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. Always makes the experience more comfortable when I've heard good things. I think I'll take a ride over and say hello today and shake hands with them.

I haven't seen many Rovers around here so I'll keep an eye out and wave if I see you guys. My D90 is in pieces right now putting a larger intercooler, new turbo and clutch slave in, but my kitted out green DII is my daily so be sure to say hello and let me know if you guys want to go wheeling some time. I have no idea what is in the area. Some of the river beds look like they would be fun to cruise down, nice and rocky, but they all have no trespassing signs.

Thanks for letting me know. Fiesta seems to shut the town down at least many of the local businesses. Will be good to go and say hello when they get back and see the photos.
