Art,
Did you move to Phoenix or are you just visiting?

http://bushducks.com/landrover/comments.htm recommends:

Pinnacle Automotive Service
"Very comfortable with Land Rover. Will do all the normal maintenance, repairs, breakdowns and diagnostics. Wouldn't rebuild a transmission, but would put in a reconditioned one. Often very booked, so advance notice recommended."

Scottsdale Car Care - Mechanic Jean-Claude Lacroix
"Excellent garage, (however not much to look at), that will give you the trusted answer at extremely reasonable rates. If they can't get the part, they know how to make the part. In three years, I have never had to visit the dealership."

"I had a problem nobody was able to diagnose. Very reliable and prompt service. JC quickly diagnosed my vehicle's problem and solved it. No unnecessary testing and retesting. Reasonable price. The guy knows Land Rovers. "

I have not used either yet, I still have a LR warranty. Is there anything I can help you with? Let me know...Dave
