rotting doors...

I keep trying to tell myself that it doesn't bother me... but it really does and I keep thinking it could be getting worse. The frame is in good shape and has been waxoyled and as far as I can tell with a hammer and a flashlight it's just the door bottoms where there is rot and it's starting to show through the paint...

so what can be done? I assume that if I opened up the doors and waxoyled the inside I could stop the progression of any further corrosion... but seeing it start to effect the paint sucks can I just get them repainted? What will it take to really repair these doors? Can any competent body shop take care of this or am I going to need new doors?

That is outrageously high for a series LR lower door. Good gravy...

edit

ok ron has pointed out that it is for a pair. I stand corrected that is a fair price. hope they are good quality though.

It is a pair for $340. That is a fair price.

Brad,

What color is your 90? I keep seeing a green 90 parked down the street in Golden.

Has a free Tibet sticker on the back and ARB front bumper

Most likely your problem is the door bottom they make replacements, you have to cut the old ones off and weld the new ones on.

Just search this exact statement for the replacement.

Where to purchase door repair channel
