Bill, these DO look sweet. Do they have an aluminum deck? And are thy canvas vs nylon?

Guessing you didn't read the Overland Journal Roof Top Tent Comparison article I attached earlier in thread that outlined the materials used. Both Eezi Awn and Hannibal (the two South African original rrt manufacturers) use poly sealed marine grade ply

1st Overland

On the first Overland Expedition (1955)they had a canvas that attached to the back of each vehicles roof then just drove away to make taut. They ran hammocks and cots under it. Only in bad(rain) weather.

Maybe I didn't mean big players doug. Maybe I meant more brands compared and listed. We've seen 15 different manufacturers listed that are worth putting side by side IMO for people who want to make a big purchase like this.
