Rollcage Light Install

I am in the process of installing 4 Hella 4000's on my rollcage and it looks like the most user-friendly option is to ziptie down the inside of the cage. I'm left with deciding where to run the wires through to the cab. Any advice / experiences on the best location?

Hella installation

Mine were installed professionally. I can send you info when I get to my garage and look how they ran everything!

Don't drill into the cage. You'll be inviting rust in. I believe most people zip tie them to the cage and then down into the engine bay.

Much appreciated. I don't need to tame any more rust issues and the zip ties look like they'll do the job just fine.

zip tie method

I concur about not drilling the cage. I put 4 lights on the cage and ran the wires down the inside of the A pillar behind the plastic trim. On the hard top, there's a slot under the weather strip around the door that the wires just squeezed into. Dressed the outside up with some of that grooved plastic stuff you can get at a stereo shop. It's been in place almost 10 years with no issues.

Cheers,
Severin
