roll bar padding removed?

Anyone running their soft top with the padding removed from the roll bar? would love pictures if available.

I have the padding off, but my D90 doesn't run.
Does that count?

Here is a cage without padding. It had a little fire. I wonder if the fire will compromise the steel integrity ?
