Rockware Rear Bumper/Tire Carrier/Jerry Can Holder

Well my stock tire carrier clearly isn't up to the task of holding a 35" tire (duh) and as I'm in the market for a new rear, I wanted to get the opinion of the peanut gallery on the Rockware rear. I had read in that numerous people had vibration issues at highway speed (ya like 55mph is highway speed anymore, but that's my top speed).

If anyone could provide their experiences I'd appreciate it.

Regards,
S-P

Hey, I just got one for my Range Rover. While it's not a d90, he uses the same unit for all his bumpers, so mine is the same unit that you'd find on a d90. There is no vibration or any noise to speak of driving back 70mph for 3 hours on the highway as well as around town is absolutely quiet too. I think you'll be pleased if you decide to get one. It can pretty much hold any diameter tire up to 12.5 wide.

Everything I have ever gotten or other Rover friends have gotten from Matt at Rockware has been top notch no complaints.

Thanks for the responses guys. I was hoping for some first hand (on a D-90), but I guess the owners aren't out there or are so pleased that they have nothing to say.

He's got one on his own d90...you should give him a call and ask him about the vibration.

Cliff Durrett has one and he's in Largo, Florida. Drop him a line, he's a great guy, I'm sure he'd be able to answer your questions.
