Here's the $5 solution. Literally. Like $4.99 at Fastenal. Obviously, add the cost of the Jerry and can carrier ;-)

Is that your truck? Pretty sweet.

I have a mantec carrier and with that 35km2 and rim on there I'm worried about the weight with all the bouncing around offroad.

Has anyone mounted a gas can to a mantec with a heavy tire/rim on there ?

Yup. That's mine ;-) I only have the stock carrier, with a heavy A$$ 33 Toyo, in addition to the Jerry. Your Mantec is better made so I think you would be fine.

No I am a lifted.

I do not technically own a truck yet but close.

I still have to prioritize what I want to do with the truck. I just always likes the look of the sliders. I did very light offloading with my D90's and they bent and got dented easily.

I like the step style that was previously posted in this tread.
