Rock sliders

Has anyone heard anything about ShrockWorks rock sliders compared to others (safari gard, Scorpion, etc)? How do they mount (exsisting mounting?) and are they any good? I tried to do a search but didn't come up with any leads.
Thanks

Don't know about them, but www.slickrockfabrication.com is the bomb. Dave's attention to detail is unsurpassed.

I've tried to get ahold of Dave to get a set a few weeks ago, but never heard back from him. I know he was talking about making them, but still are not forsale on his site. Am I missing something?

I have to second Andrew's motion for Slickrock. I have their stainless fuel tank skid plate that was epoxy powder coated black. Very nice finish , strong and precise fitting. I was impressed. The site shows sliders as "coming soon" ?

I am running the Rockware sliders and winch bumper. Very solid stuff!

I know that slickrock uses exsiting holes for installation. In the event that I am unable to get SlickRocks sliders what would be the next best setup for sliders that mount with the existing holes. I have looked at the Shrockworks setup and can't figure out what they are so much cheeper than others. Has anyone had any experience with these?

My dad has Rockware sliders on his D-90, and I have Safari Gard on mine I really like the Rockware, and would get rockware if I did it all over again.

I think Dave has only made a prototype, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I have installed Shrockworks sliders, they are very nice. No mods needed for installation.

I think Dave is currently working on some, so lets see if this post will help you get an answer. I'll be surprised if he doesn't respond in a day or so.

Sorry about that Mike, I am not sure what happened! I have a new email from you this weekend and will respond.

took me more than a day or two but it was over the weekend so I guess Saturday and Sunday do not count :D

Anyhowww…

I built a large batch of the final version of D90 Sliders late last year and they turned out really really nice, however I went a little overboard with the design and ended up having to price them higher than expected. Since then I have actively been thinking of ways to produce them in a more cost effective / efficient manner without compromising my design.

Fortunately/ Unfortunately I have been getting slammed and have not been able spend as much time on them as I would like. In the meantime while I have been working on the redesign there have been a bunch of requests so I might make one last batch of the precious design.
