Rock sliders

Anyone put rock sliders on a 110 ex mod truck. I am wondering if you are still able to get the jerry can compartment open?

If you going to remove the sills and install sliders in their place I believe they will interfere. Just look at your truck and see if the storage box extends into the sill (all the ones I have seen do).

I was thinking about putting these storage boxes in my trailer but aside from cost I would have had to notch sliders/frame.

That's what I thought. I thought someone might have a clever little solution to this problem. Thanks

Yes, they do interfere with the doors.

There's only two possible cures really, either trim the bottom of the doors off a bit, or take a slice out of the sliders, then re-weld in the top piece to lower it down a bit.

Yup, I'd just modify the sliders.
