Cherie, purple "hater" is a very strong word. I think purple "make-fun-of-er" is a little more accurate.

However, if your truck ends up in the Hall Of Shame "Land Rovers That Suck" thread you will have no doubt you stepped over that "thin purple line." :-)

That's what 40K gets you?
Ouch...and my Kissimmee based restoration shop is about the same story.

Amazing how all of the posts here bagged on you for grammer, trainwreck, etc.

The whole experience is un-fucking believeable.

That's definitely better than the Morris Marina Black Tulip. I always thought it was darker than this....

Best of luck with your project. Don't listen to these color haters. Most drive some boring ass color like alpine white.

I'm digging the purple in those outside pics.
I'm comfortable enough with myself to say that.

It doesn't look bad. Was there ever an answer on why the roof is black? Is it flat black. As far from done as it is, it's still farther than the first pic that was posted.

The color looks great. All the more with a white roof. Worth taking the cage off for a respray.

If that's a LR color it's called bournville metallic, has a eggplant appearance in the sunlight.
