Even I could get a restore done in 21 months.

If you have been calling and emailing them even half as much as you say you have, this should be resolved. I think your initial post really threw some people. You don't want a warranty, and why the heck were you sending warranty info to your lawyer?

But 21 months, paid work, and if you truck still looks like that... yeah, there is a problem.

I've read here a few times, people saying that a DUI isn't a big deal. I'm sure that means you know no one who has been killed in a DUI crash then. Once you have a friend or family member who is killed, or in a wheel chair for life, go ahead and post all you want about how a DUI isn't a big deal.

It should not be an issue as far as whether or not work on a vehicle is done in the shop. It isn't connected with how they get the work done, or not.

A DUI is a huge deal. I just mean people make mistakes about driving under the influence and it can happen to anyone. Anytime anyone does they are taking their life and everyone else's in their hands.

It is a huge mistake but not one that is unforgivable when no one is hurt.

Getting multiple ones is another story, as is getting one in a customer's vehicle you had no business driving for personal use.

Maybe he doesn't want to finish it because it purple. I would take that as a legitimate excuse.

21 months +$30000-00 and the truck looks like that. That is nuts. That shop needs to get their stuff together. Not a reliable shop to do business with. Forget about a warrenty just make sure you get your truck asap

I'm sorry, having lost a friend to a fucking loser driving drunk, no sympathy for this piece of shit. It's safe to say we've all done stupid shit but getting MULTIPLE DUI's and one of them in a CUSTOMERS TRUCK and add in the fact of a armed robbery charge…

EDIT:
Seriously…the fact that he was driving a customers truck when he got one does bring in question the legitimacy of the shop

My ex-wife had HUGE issues with my toys. But if she said to me one day "sure honey you can get a Defender" To which I would reply "Wow! Great I love you." And then she added "But it's got to be purple - with a black roof." I honestly don't know what I would do.

I do. I'd make it the most badass and off-road capable defender out there. I'm thinking 35's on portals with a LS v8. And I would go with Barney purple

No, not because it is America, because he is breaking the law. A felon possessing a firearm is a VERY serious crime. A criminal can easily obtain a firearm in any country on the face of the earth.

Wait a second...isn't your husband's D90 the same truck that Geared uses in their promotional images?

What's the relationship there?
