Question Reseting the service message on my LR3. Anyone ever try the hawkeye tool from BA?

Guess I'm going to need a hawkeye or something equivalent to clear the service reminder. I think my only option is the hawkeye from British Atlantic. $584 plus $129 for the LR3 cable. Anyone use this thing have any advice/input? Thanks.

NO! I'll dig up a link to the tool you need.

Here it is:
https://blackbox-solutions.com/shop/

Click on "Blackbox Basic Bits", then scroll down to CAN-mate SRT (51.25). I just saved you $638.

I have it, works great on the LR3 to reset the reminder.

I just want to say that the blackbox solutions box worked. It was so easy too, just turn the dial to when you want to be reminded again and plug it again. Boom. Thanks Nathan, you rock. Beers on me.

If one day I have to clear transmission, ABS or air suspension codes, I still have to buy the hawkeye though right? lol

What year is the Lr3? If it is an 08 or newer you can manually reset it.

Glad it worked...the BlackBox Solutions thing has been great for me as well (mainly just so I don't get annoyed by the reminder staying on). But it only works on oil change reminders, so for other things you'll have to go with the Hawkeye or similar I believe.

Well in typical Land Rover fashion, once they get something right they change it... 2010+ requires SDD to reset it.
