Replacing headlight bulb?

I have a stupid question about changing the headlight bulb. Do you have to remove the light bezel and pull it out from the front, or can it just be unplugged and pulled from the rear? I have Hella H4s.

You need to pull it out. There is no access from the back.

Thanks, kind of what I figured. Even the simplest jobs on these things are labor intensive.

Do you have one piece sealed lenses with bulb or H4 bulbs in the lens/holder?

If they are one piece sealed units you will need to pull everything from the front.

If they are bulb and holder, no tools are needed. Pull the clips from the rear, swap the bulb, curse while you contort yourself to get the damn clip back on, and done...

If you're upgrading bulbs, make sure you put relays in (like arb m002)

I have the H4, so it's just the swap of a bulb. I just have a low beam on the drivers side out.The relay upgrade will be done in the near future.
