Replacing Fuel Pump

So the top of my gas tank is leakiing. It is going to have to come out for the repair. Since it is coming out I am going to replace the fuel pump, filler tube, seals, breather tube, and fuel cradle. Should I replace the fuel lines with stainless? I know ECR makes them. Is it an easy job once the tank is out?

Where can I get them?

Also if anyone has the exact bolt sizes for the cradle that would be great. I want to have everything on hand before it is pulled apart.

Thanks

The bolts for the cradle are m10's or m12's, I dont remember which. If you send back that RN galvy bit and order a wicked stainless skid plate from slickrock fabrication then the bolts are included.

I would never describe replacing the fuel lines as easy, since they have to be snaked through the chassis, but you're right, now would be the time to do it. ECR's lines are actually made by "Classic Tube" who sells the same stuff for the same price.

Good call on replacing all the soft stuff at once. The fuel pump is probably not a bad idea if its the original, you'll get a fair amount of crap out of it, and you'll have no trouble selling it to someone.

The reason I went galvanized and not sllickrock was I would have to wait at least 3 weeks for the slickrock one. That is when the guy who makes them will be back.
I can sell the old fuel pump?

What about the length of the bolts? Do I need nuts or just lock washers?
