Replacement door locks for D90

Hi! I purchased a 1995 D90 soft top yesterday. Yay!! My brother said this was a great site to ask questions. So here it is...I would like to replace my door locks. The key that locks the doors wasn't available upon purchase. This may seem like a silly question for most of you but is the part on the attached link what I need?

Thank you

I thought that might be the answer

I don't know if the oil cooler lines have been replaced. I made an appointment to have the oil changed, fluids check, etc. I will have them check the oil cooler lines too. So any suggestions on where I purchase a tufty center console? I do have a center console but it doesn't have a lock. I REALLY appreciate the input. I'm totally new to this but find it fun and exciting to do things myself instead of having a shop do it if possible.

This member is looking for a 95 console and wants to trade his Tuffy Box.

I want to buy his Tuffy Box so if you don't want a used one I'm sure he will buy yours and you will have enough loot to buy a new one.

Most everything on a '95 D90 is old technology, some of it is decades old.
You can learn a lot about basic vehicle maintenance and repairs and modifications on a Rover.

This site really IS great! Do you know where I can purchase a new tuffy box? If I can find one to replace mine, I have no problem selling the current one. BUT...if it's a matter of being able to just replace that lock on what I have, that would be best.

Apologies for the hijack, we can all go PM with the other stuff.

Yes, I believe that is correct but what about this?

Tuffy!

Welcome to the forums D90Grl.
I have a 95ST as well and have to really praise the Tuffy. Had it in my previous series and it's very secure (For a Soft Top Vehicle) The padding is nice and thick for resting your arm while driving and it's got quite a bit of space inside.

Congrats on your 90!

Its definitely better to leave a soft top unlocked. A new top is probably more expensive than any item left in the vehicle.

Yeah, I'm over the need for door locks. My D90 has taught me to let go. Very refreshing.
I do have a locking console but, the lock needs to be repaired. I'd prefer not to have to replace the console. I've been searching but haven't been able to find someone who can fix the lock so far.
