Most people won't touch a salvage/repair title. You really need to make sure it's repaired properly because they don't total 'em for nothing. Some insurance companies won't insure them either. If you aren't too far from Springfield VT, bring it over to DAP. The shop does free pre-purchase inspections on any Rover.

Is that the green '97 that's been on Ebay? With a fiberglass top? If so, what kind of damage?

steve, the salvage/repair title knocks it about $3000/$4000 from the book, easy. It also depends on how it was hit and repaired. was it sheet metal only with no frame damaged? or was it a fire?

If it is the green one in NH, have it checked out. I dont think the top color is correct. and the front cage is strange. It looks like it has well wheeled.

good luck

One thing to think about might be to have the frame checked (if indeed that was part of the damage). There are frame shops around that'll check that sort of thing for you. They'll also tell you how, if it's possible, to fix any frame damage.
