Removing the wind screen/shield

Has anyone ever sucessfully removed a screen in one piece? I got a new frame, and want to swap my glass to it.

Yes, very easy to get out, not so easy to get in (unless you are randy ).

I noticed in one of your post that you said the windscreen frame was from a 2006. I thought that the TD5 windscreen was diffrent than the old style?

You might want to make sure it will fit prior to installing your glass.

BTW

Happy B day

The whole screen is different or just the Glass? It looked the same, same hinges. I'm hoping someone else will chime in.
Thanks for the Bday wishes

my understanding is that the hinges are the same, glass is the same but the top where to roof mounts is diffrent on the TD5 style.

I might be wrong but when I was trying to buy parts for my 90 I was told there was a diffrence between teh TD5 and non TD5

I have a spare frame off god knows what if you are interested. What is wrong with your current frame? They are aluminium so they don't rust, so unless it is bent ....
