Question Removing Rearview Mirror

Anybody out there know how to remove the rearview mirror from the windshield? I believe it is held in place with glue.

Take a razor and scrape at it like a sticker, eventually it will come flying off of there. Use a razor that is held in one of those holders. It is just glued on. If you plan on replacing it with another button, use one of those dry erase markers and draw a circle on the outside of the glass where the button is before you remove it, this will make replacing it a lot easier.

Heat gun can also be useful.

It'll fall off in time. My truck came with it in the center console.
