Removing Defender Sliding Windows

Does anyone have experience in removing the sliding windows? If so, any advice?

What is it you want to do? Take off the door tops or remove the glass from the door tops?

Are you removing the Sliding window on the door or the Station Wagon sliding windows?

If it's a yellow D, then he probably wants the door tops removed- I thought yellows were only in ST form.

Look up under the window from the inside, there are two nuts that hold the window on. I think it's a 10mm deep socket. Remove those and hit the top of the window frame up with a rubber mallet. Be careful not to damage the tracks the window slides in and it will take some "persuasion", particularly if it's the first time.

We still dont know what he wants. He certainly hasnt posted in the thread since he started it. I love helping out, but I have no interest in typing out long winded answers for unspecific questions, especially when attempts to clarify the question go unanswered.
