In nearby Merrick, Long Island, I have taken my headlight grilles to Colvin Auto Paint and Parts. They are just south of Sunrise Highway on Babylon Turnpike. I actually think they may have outsourced, but the work (stripping and recoating) was very reasonable and turned really nice.

Bossman hit me to these guys last year: www.grandstanddesigns.com

In NJ but they do nice work and should be within an hour drive from anyplace in NYC. There might even be ferry service or train service nearby to them.

Just remember, price goes down if you can get a bunch of stuff coated. Might want to combine your stuff with someone elses batch.

I have a few things I need to powder coat but I'm going to use a place up by me.

Thanks all.
Right now I have 4 wheels sitting in storage. I'd like to get them done and swap them onto the truck. Then I'll 4 for sale.

What wheels are you painting? Steel or alloys? How much per wheel? What color? Just curious cause I have 6 Mach 5s I'd like to have powder coated. Maybe price goes down.

The more prep that has to be done on the rims will dictate the cost per wheel i know my brand new steel wheels were approx 90 each

I'm going to take a ride out and see them. Spoke to him on the phone and he priced me at $75/wheel in his "standard" colors. Seems reasonable but I do want to keep it alpine white so I'm not sure about the added cost.

If you find a powder coat code that is close to alpine white please post. Would be dope to have alpine colored wheels on my rig.

I just dropped my ARB bumper off at Peerless. They do good work. They also did my rear step bumper and 3rd brake light bar.

Good to hear. I'm going to drive out next week. See if they can do the alpine white on my wheels
