Rebuilding 3.5 V8 Power steering pump

the hydraulic pump on my truck is making quite a racket, sounds like the bearing is going. How involved is rebuilding one of these, assuming the parts are available? I don't see a grease fitting or anything to lube it.

I can't answer the rebuild question but I picked a new pump up last for $160 shipped on eBay. Might be worth a look.
If you do the rebuild please do a write up.

Well it appears my pump is of course the NLA cast style, I'd imagine I can retrofit the newer style but I'll probably need brackets etc. In case anyone has one of these laying around let me know 610020 STEERING PUMP PAS | shop | www.lrseries.com

On the plus side if it gives out it will be like driving my series again...

I'd try fitting QVB101110 before I'd try rebuilding one. Your pump isn't NLA btw but its 480 euro which is nuts.

Ha yeah I think I can get a full 3.5 for that. I'm overdue for a stay at Overland Engineering, I'll let Matt have all the fun.
