Hey guys, thanks for the offers! truck is not moving. Both stubs are off. Tomorrow I'll put one back with new bearings, seals, etc.
ordered 2 used stubs from Will Tillery. Should receive them Tuesday. So if everything goes according to plan I should be good. If not... I'll come with a 17 mm wrench and steal Charles' stub axle (and will bring back another one when I get one.
Have I seen Lav's message earlier today I would have just come over and take the new one. But now, my mind is at peace, I can wait Tuesday!

Wow. That must have been spinning for a while. That is really bad.

Can't say for how long it's been bad... Pulled over fairly quickly after hearing a bad noise. Got off the two truck and drove around the block with no noise... Then got some noise after driving around a bit more! Anyway, must have been bad for a while!

Spent the weekend cleaning and getting the other side done while waiting for replacement axle stub (should be here tomorrow).
Amazing for me to see how little grease in the factory setup!

Since I had the parts, I kept the nut/lock washer setup. But I did read that:
- there is a "kit" to "go back" to that setup for the new style hub nuts guys!
- with the new style hub nut, you have to be very careful to not mess up the thread.
