Rear seats removed - to plug or not?

I have removed the rear seats in my 97 SW.

Just wondering if you folks feel there is any problem leaving the holes in the rear deck from where the bolts went thru or if you plug them or reinstall bolts.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts..
Paul

Plug them. I just reinstalled my rear bench seats and had to retap the holes after years of exposure.

Another vote for plug. Had an experience in Yellowstone a couple of years back where mice (or some other rodent) got in the vehicle via unplugged holes looking for food and made a mess.

Silicone should be totally adequate - the factory covered the holes with black circles of tape on trucks like mine that never had a seat. Its not hard to do better than tape.

I siliconed pieces of small plastic over the holes. My brother just left the holes and ring-tailed horn rimmed raptors nested in his truck--he had to hire two red striped rib-legged thorn crusters to get them out.
