Rear Lock & Fold Seats

Considering buying some exmoor rear lock and fold seats for my NAS 95 D90. Before doing so was curious if anyone had these and if so 1) do they like them and 2) what was the difficulty of the install like?

Thanks

I have them installed in my D90.. Some quick notes:

- I had my service shop install them so I don't know how difficult it was to do, but maybe cost $600 I think.

- I did end up replacing my carpet on both sides where the previous safari/jump seats were removed from as the bolt/mounting holes from the old seats in carpet looked bad (so count on having to do that).

- you can't have the rubber load space mat in place when the seats are down and in place as the place the seats lock into when upright gets covered by the mat. I use the mat when they are locked and folded away but remove the mat when I unlock and put the seats upright.

- when both seats are unlocked and in place upright, there is zero room between them so it's a juggling exercise to get two people into them but it's do-able.

- we did the seat change so that it would be safer to have a toddler/child car seat installed on occasion

Overall happy that I did it as the seats are better and safer for kids and adults (even if there on now 2 less seats technically).

Thanks. This is really helpful. The child seat is the same reason I was looking into it. Not going to take big road trips but would be nice to be able to take the kids to school and head into work after that which isn't possible in my current setup.

Do they make a mat that would accommodate the lock and fold? I'll look around. Thanks again

You could probably use a cutting razor and cut out the specific areas in the mat to allow it to then lay down and overlay the lock and fold mount points on the floor.

They are not hard to install...just take your time. I put mine in for my kids. You could fit an adult back there but it would not be something you would want to do often. My kids have no issues climbing around to get in. They love the Defender!

Did anyone install these in a soft top? Talking to the RoversNorth guys they said I'd have to do some customizing for the seat belt installation - was curious if anyone had some solutions or experience in this. Wanted to confirm before I ordered.

Thanks in advance for all the help

IF you want a full set of New rear lock and fold, and front Elites. I will sell at my cost. without the import duties.
You wont have to deal with shipping, import, long wait etc.

Leather Truffle (dark dark brown, almost black, with medium tan). Beautiful colors. These were top of the line for my personal ride. I have since gone to 4 Recarros and Puma tub.
