Rear door table

Anyone made a rear door table for their Defender? I know its common for Disco's, but I don't think I've ever seen one on a Defender. If you've made one, post some pics!

Yes i made one, less than $100 for the black diamond plate and hinges. Used an angle grinder with cut off wheel. Looks like crap but my first foray into this stuff. Hard part was really lining up the mounting holes. I used rivnuts on the door and then on the diamond plate to mount the hinges.

These are the hinges i used. They fold up and lock. Painted them black.

Oh and i added a strip of LEDs to some angled metal above all of it for night dining.

That's not pretty, but those hinges seem like a great choice!

I hate to say it, but there's a pretty slick Jeep option that I've seen and have wondered if it could be adapted to the back of the 90 door. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I made mine out of stainless, the door card is steel so I used rivenuts to attach the piano hinge. On the table I had the hinge welded to the table. Cable stays rated for 330#. I set a diff on it and it held up.
