Rear crossmember bolts

I am building a rear bumper and tire carrier for my 94 d90. I sold my stock rear bumper months ago, and need to know what size the bolts need to be for the center of the rear crossmember. Anyone have that info?

Hello Martin,

I just replaced my rear crossmember with a galvanized one and oddly the holes in it aren't threaded.
If I remember correctly the bolts were M10 1.5's. Maybe 30 or 35mm long. Hopefully someone
else will have something more definitive.

Or the bolts that bolt from the rear step bumper to the bottom of the cross member?

The only bolts i would "at the center" are used are under the Xmember for the rear bumper and the gas tank skid. All are M10 1.5 thread. Don't know the factory size for sure but I used 35 mm bolts for both IIRC.
I did not measure them, but I'd say that the bolts that attach the Xmember to the rear tub are M8 and probably 25 mm.

sorry for the confusion. I am looking for the bolts in the center of the crossmember. The holes that would match up with a 5 ton recovery point from expedition exchange. I don't have one of those, but those are the holes I am talking about.

To clarify, it is not A, B, C or D.

Again, sorry!
