Rear Crossmember Replaced

Charles and all,

Here are the pics i promised (2 months ago) of the completed replacement. The shop and i meet 1/2 way on the cost over the original quote and he did a great job! it took him twice as long as he estimated. He will probably make it up when I ask him to do my footwell repairs.

Charles thank you very much for your part and help. Now my 20 month old can spend time in the truck again instead of asking wheres dadda's truck.

Next step is to paint the rest of the frame with KBS chassis system and most likely waxoyl the vehical.

Cheers everyone

Looks good. rover26c's truck from NJ looks very similar w/ the red truck and anthracite top.

It looks good, and I'm glad to hear it turned out well. Hopefully it won't need replacing until your son gets the truck

Looks fantastic. I would do just the internal Waxoyl treatment if you are going an external coating like POR-15 or KBS. I think the POR-15 or KBS looks better as is, should offer plenty protection if properly applied, and mud, dirt, grim can be spray and wiped off.
