Rear axel breather tube

I found my rear axel breather tube missing and have a stock replacement set to put in, but don't know where it runs. The existing banjo bolt is on the left side of the axel and points right. The obvious ending point seems to be high up in the wheel well, but I was thinking of routing it thought grommet into the speaker housing.

Where is the stock location and any drawbacks putting behind the speaker?

The higher the better. My stocker was just under the bottom of the tub. I too had gotten new lines and was able to get it higher and out of the way of any splash up.

Mine runs all the way to the bottom of the bonnet in the engine compartment.

Thanks guys. I'll run it as far as it will go with the stock length. In the future I may run all the breathers to a common location under the bonnet.
