Really dumb rover/dog?

So when I leave the dog in the car to run into the store I usually turn the truck off for fear of the dog hitting the shifter in 1st gear and the dog and the truck following me into the store!
My question is would this even be possible? It's an lt77 and a soon to be 90+ lb dog.

Possible, probably not if you have the e-brake on and it works. Never done it in a diesel, but it would stall a gas motor.

*not legal advice*

It's a good idea to shut your truck off anyway Newer cars are shutting off automatically when you stop at a stoplight even.

It possible, but it would probably kill it...All depends on how quickly he could get his little paw to the gas pedal and hit the go juice!!

I'd be more worried about mine overheating, from just sitting there idling!!
