no no... it's important to have museum pieces around. Just consider yourself a curator...

I think 15K is too little to pay for a NAS D90. Spending that little you'll end up with a very abused or at the least, very worn truck. Expect it to need a lot of work just to stay running. Hopefully you can work on it yourself.
If you have to have a D90 plan to spend at least $5-10K more or you'll end up spending it and more in the long run. Even more if you pay someone to fix it for you.

I second what others have said about Range Rover Classics, they are great vehicles that share lots with D90's except price. There are also lots of gray market vehicles coming into the country lately that are worth a look too. Spending $15K will go a long ways with an import non NAS Defender.

i got my Grey-market 90 for under $15K. Sure the water pump died on the highway, but at least it wasn't the timing belt! got mine from Dr Aaron on this forum -> http://www.roversouteast.com/

The first time I told someone I wanted a rover, they laughed and told me to buy a Toyota, and bolt the spare to the hood.

I laughed, but you could probably make it work with an FJ40.
