Question Re-tune ecu without catalytic converters Help!

So what I have got so far is that I need to “find the tune resistor in the harness and swap it out.” A few questions??? Swap it for what? Can I buy another resistor at a place like radio shack and make it? What would I be looking for to buy? Where is the resistor located in the harness? Can anyone give me a step by step on this? Thanks everyone!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
