Raptor Engineering Defender Binnacle

Raptor has a the Defender Binnacle made from steel.

Defender Binnacle

Unlike the plastic OEM we have now that easily crack. I know mine is missing tabs for mounting. They currently only have them for RHD. If enough people send them requests, may be they can move up production of LHD versions. Send them an email at info@raptor-engineering.co.uk

Or may be someone can produce one stateside.

Forget whose thinking about a fiberglass replacement dash but incorporating stuff like this might be a smart move.

Paul did you even look @ what he posted ? Its not the backing bracket that Stephen has. It is the actual gauge binnacle. Pretty trick.

Your warning lights would be at the top with a face plate flip.

Huh? That would be rotating, not flipping. The bolt pattern would not allow that.

Actually, I'm not quite sure why you can't just unbolt and flip end to end the bezel. All they would need to do it finish both sides of the plate. does the bezel have the recesses for the gauges like the stock panel?

From the photos, it looks like it should flip. It is all about whether they have finished the back side and if there is a recessed machined for the gauges. If not, it would be super easy for them to make the opposite sided ones. Just hit mirror on the CNC.

The first photo, to me, looks like the basic model with no bezel at all. Nothing to flip. I could be wrong since in looking at it on my phone.

I thought you could flip the bezel at first from the pictures too. So I inquired via email. Nope. RHD only. I think you can flip the aluminum bezel but you can't flip the binnacle.

Jafir above also emailed and got the same reply I did.

I can't see it swapping from RHD to LHD, the outer end is shaped to fit the plastic dash end cap. The other for the heater controls.
