Rakeway?

Anyone ever dealt with Rakeway in the UK?
Ive emailed them several times asking for a price, and each time get a "read receipt" that they got the message, but never a reply.
After 4 tries over 7 mos Im about ready to give up.

I was needing a price on their LT230 shorter rear about 1/2 way down:

And this seems typical of UK places. Over the past year Ive inquired about parts from different places and less than 1/2 ever respond. Is that just me?

Pick up the phone and call them. Email is not a common way of doing business among rover suppliers in the UK.

It's not that expensive to call England especially if you do it before 7am our time

What's different about me calling than a brit calling many times in their timezone other than perhaps them being more likely to answer a call from the UK over long distance? They are not answering the phone or emails. It doesn't matter where you call or email them from

I am not saying this is typical of UK suppliers. I am saying Rakeway is either out of business or wants to be.

It's typical of many suppliers...hence they're failure. It doesn't make sense.

Im glad to see Im not the only one who this happens to!

And really, what century are we in?
Whats the purpose of having a web site, post your email and even read the emails sent and never ever respond?

So saying its typical isnt a reason to me.

Just makes me leery of doing business with someone.
If its this hard to buy something from them, imagine if there was a problem with something they supplied
