Rails and Snaps.. Is this stock or modified?

Afternoon...

I was thinking on the getting the tonneau that Ron was trying to sell... and seems my set up is not quite factory default... ST D90 '94.

Does this look like a modifed setup?

Should snaps have been all around? But instead the previous owner added the railing (side rear and rear) for the Soft top he put on?

Yes, modified. For the 94' ST, those aftermarket rails were necessary to install Badger tops.

Yes "aftermarket" but a very common "upgrade" since the snaps were only for 1994s and the belt rail (that black thing covering where your snaps were) system was used for 1995-1997, allowing more tops choices, including the Badger and RN tops. You can add the snaps on top of your belt rail though. Just source the snaps, figure out where they should go and drill, then install install. If you take the belt rail off while doing so, paint it to match your body color before re-installing.

Why would you ever want to do this? Once you go Badger, you don't go back.

For a non-gutter kit I presume (only applicable to the bikini in your scenario above).
