radiator choice

[QUOTE=pendy]I can have a 5 core R-fin radiator made for anybody 800.00 plus shipping and a core charge if I supply a core. Made a few for members on the board. My radiator shop is busy this time of year so it takes some time to get done. Takes a few custom parts to make these cores fit as well.

Pendy, is this something you're still doing? I've got a 97 d 90 and would like to increase cooling capacity, but don't want to go with aluminum. Your 5 core sounds like a good solution. How much mod does it take to fit, and what is $. Thanks for any input you might have on the subject.

thanks
Steve

It takes no modifications to fit. It's the exact same size as your existing one (it is your existing one)- except internally it has more cores.

Bump. Anyone still making these? Or anyone know of a decent radiator shop in Denver/Co. springs area?

Look for a radior shop that specialized in industrial applications (equipment and trucks), they can do it for you. I had my 300tdi rad re-cored at such a place, it is bigger now with different fins. No problems in 4 years with lots of tough driving.
