There is no such thing as a hard to install defender 110 2.5 TD radiator. Pull the jubilee clamps off and disconnect the hoses, disconnect the oil cooler lines if present and pull a couple of bolts off the top with a 13mm socket. Swap it out, put everything back, fill and you are done.

Where is the best place in the US to get one? Should I get the same radiator or upgrade to a new one?

There is no real upgraded radiator. You may also be able to get your current radiator rebuilt, especially if it is an all metal (no plastic) unit.

I noticed you're in Austin. You may want to give Mr. Cool Radiator off of North Lamar a call. My 300 Tdi wouldn't cool down very well here in the Texas summer heat; the electric fans would run almost constantly, especially if I turned on the AC, was pulling a trailer, or climbing that hill on 2222 just east of 620. Mr. Cool Radiator made me a custom radiator that cools much better than factory - the fans rarely kick on in the summer unless I'm stationary in traffic or climbing a hill with a trailer.

The price was pretty reasonable and comparable to buying new. My only (minor) complaint is that the radiator is a tighter fit than the OEM. Pulling the intercooler out is a bit more of a pain, and the brackets that hold the radiator in place don't fit quite as nicely, although the issue is more cosmetic than functional.

Let me know if you want pictures - I'm replacing my water pump and the back side of the radiator is currently exposed.

Betcha can also have yours rebuilt by a local shop.
