R380 Transmission mounts

Any hints or suggestions for changing 300tdi R380 tranny/t-case mounts with the transmission in situ? Will a jack and a block of wood provide enough clearance to remove and replace? Any wires, breathers, linkage clearances I need to be concerned about?

Thanks,
Henry

We installed my R380 with a floor jack, so changing the mounts is doable. I'm not sure though that there is enough clearance between the top of the gearbox and the seatbox/tranny tunnel to lift the studs on the mounts clear. Worst case, you have to unbolt the chassis mounts. Three long bolts on each side if I remember correctly.

Hey, thanks or the reply. The rain quit long enough last night to spend some time under the 110 and check out the brackets you mentioned. I hope to get the parts today and get them changed out over the weekend....

Thanks again,

Henry
