Quick Question on Warn 9.5 CTIs Install

Need some help here. Installing my winch in my '97 today and I'm trying to figure out how to attach the longer positive cable to the winch. I had assumed it should be swapped out for the inadequate short cable that came attached to the winch but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get to the inside part of the winch where the warn provided positive cable attaches so I can swap them out. Any insight would be appreciated

There are hex screws on the sides of the top housing. You take 2or 3 out from both of the sides and the front 2/3 of the top center cover comes off.
It is hard to get a larger cable in the housing past all the solenoids. I wound up installing a 600A Anderson style connector on the existing cable and ran my 2/O to the other Anderson connector.

Yeah piece of cake. If I can do it anyone can!!! The ground you don't have to take off the cover. But the pos you do. Take off the small cover over the plenary gears first then the top middle one. Best bet is to take out all the hex screws on the right side (left as you look at it mounted) but JUST UNDO A LITTLE THE the left side. Don't take all the left ones out. This creates a PITA.
