AFAIK, the LT95 was a v8 bellhousing only trans.

Apparently some Isuzu 4BD1's used the LT95, but that is the limit of my knowledge.

And some LT95s in AUS were mated to the 4BD1 and 4BD1T.

Yes, but with a custom bellhousing and clutch housing made by LR for the purpose and NLA.

NLA... not true. Rare and $$ yes. I bought a clutch housing (Isuzu part, not LR) from a firm in Portland, OR and a new bell housing (used for many years in the AUS market, not sure if I would call it custom) from AUS.

NLA from Land Rover..... I've never heard anyone selling new ones. Maybe you should post up the source to help people out.

They were used for 3 years. Not really "many". They switched to the LT85 in 86. "Custom", made by Land Rover Australia specifically for this use.

Stage 1 rovers in AUS and NZ could be had with the 4BD1 and an LT95, stretching the time frame to ~5 years. Perhaps the term many is off, but the point remains. One can buy the genuine 4BD1T/LT95 bits new.
I bought my bell housing from Rovercare 4WD.
