quick OME query

do OME springs have a top and bottom? Does this matter when installing?

Nope, I've just tried to turn them so they seem less likely to bind or jump over the perches.
But normally there is a passenger/driver side. But from what I recall you reverse that in the US (left hand drive/more weight). But they are hard to get to sit level.
Exped Exch goes to the trouble of opening each box and sending you 2 drivers or 2 passengers to avoid the disparity in height. Even then you may have some lean.

If it is progressive, technically speaking the tight coils should be on the top. This is reduce unstrung weight......not that there is measurable any difference.

OME MD are not up or down as they are straight rate springs. OME HD as said is progressive and has a top and bottom.
