Quick, cheap, and WELL worth it

I did a little searching around, and I didn't find a whole lot on this subject, so I thought I'd pass along one of the best changes I've made to my rig so far: When I bought my 95 late last year, it had a virtually new factory Rover exhaust system on it (factory y-pipe with cats and Rover muffler / tailpipe.) Rather than watching the tach, I like to listen to an engine to hear when I want to shift, and the factory system was so quiet, I could hardly hear it (or maybe it was that Ted Nugent concert back in '79 ?)

In any event, a friend of mine told me he had put a Magnaflow muffler in place of the stock muffler on his D90 and that he really liked it........MAN, what a cheap, quick upgrade! Absolutely no droning inside the vehicle, with the perfect volume outside.........I often drive it now just to hear it........

FWIW....I have no idea what part number mine is, but it's a stainless, oval Magnaflow that's about 14" long (center in / left out)

I love the sound of a Magnaflow. The only better sound was an AMC V8 with glass packs!

DNP (Say Bill),
How sweet the sound of a V8 CJ w/ Purple Hornies! Glad that rig of yours is running well now.

I did the manaflow and 3" exhaust the rest of the way back. Nice sound and compliments my engine upgrades. Mark
