Question on rear suspension

Does anyone know how to remove item 12 (ball joint)? Does it need to be pressed out?

Yes you remove the two bolts (14), cut the ears off so the press doesn't fight itself, and press it out.

How's the project going?

Thanks for the info. The project is going good. Should have a rolling chassis by the end of the weekend.

Find someone with a real press. When I replaced my ball joint, it took ~18-20tons of force to get it to move. Sounded like a cannon when it finally released. It took about a minute with the right tool. By hand, it could take ages to hammer it out.

WD-40 is a water dryer... Pick up some penetrating oil, it will do a much better job.
