Question about front headlights.

My left side low beam went out this past weekend but the high beam still works. I thought it was the bulb so I purchased a new new one but still does not work. I checked the line for power but I am not getting any with the low beam. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Thanks

Have you checked the fuse? There are separate fuses for each light.

No I have not because I figured the high beam works so it was not a fuse but I will now.

low beam and high beam are fused separately on ea side ie you have 4 headlight fuses. If you have the old glass type fuses its usually corrosion on the fuse holders, not a blown fuse.
