Question about Best Top on 94 D90

I recently bought a 94 D90 with a Bestop soft top. It has approx 1.5inch gaps between the windows and the top on each side, and the same at the back above the tailgate. Other than that, it is in good shape overall and doesn't need replacing yet (though I still want that Badger eventually). Is this a common problem and what can I do to address it?

I'd like to make it as water-tight as possible and though it doesnt bother me right now, I can see it being an issue come winter. Any tips or thoughts appreciated.

Bestop does not make the Best top. Many of us have had the same issue.

You may be missing the support bars at the rear of the front two windows. The rear window usually has a gap. you could try using a piece of of weather stripping on the top of the rear door to seal it up better. try the stuff that is used for pickup truck camper shells. You can buy it at home depot, etc.

You can have a local shop that works on convertibles sew in extra material where the gaps are.
