PUMA SW doors: stereo questions

It looks like you can get a 6 or 6.5" speaker low and forward in the door provided you use a spacer. In a setup with power windows and locks has anyone also installed a crossover in the door? I'll have the doors, doors cards, etc in front of me in a couple of weeks once Ash gets done but based on google images searches it does not look like there is much room if you have the window regulator. Anyone with thoughts, pictures or otherwise?

FWIW I have 6.5" in my front doors w/ tweeters and crossovers. I do not have power window or locks though.

This is the component system

From what I remember the crossover is approximately 3" x 6"x 2"

Originally I was going to make a bracket and mount it but it made more sense to just duct tape it to the inside of the door card. Now if I want to remove the door card I just disconnect from one spot on the crossover and it all comes off together with wires still connected to tweeter/speaker. I did this end of last summer so its been over a year now without issue.

Im planning same thing no crossovers but 6.5 on puma door card pwr windows and locks. Found these on ebay they are stackable as well.

On side note my pwr door locks are giving me hell. Changes in temp seem to contract the inner door metal misaligning the linkage. If there is any resistance on the linkage tbe system unlocks all doors. Ive screwed some barstock in the door to try to stiffen it but still plaguing me. Anyone have same issue and a solution.

nice find on the rings. I may need a full 1.5" as the mounting depth on the speakers I'm looking at ranges from 2.75 to 3" and based on what Ash advised me: there is 1.25" to 1.5" between the back of the door card and the regulator motor.
